The lockdown is making us crave a lot of things but not everyone is a chef to cook those fancy meals we are served in cafes and restaurants.

If you are craving something yummy but do not have that much time to prepare a fancy meal then here are a few dishes that require only three ingredients. Yes, you heard that right!(Unsplash)


Banana oat smoothie (1 serving):

Blend 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 banana and 1 cup of milk in a blender, pour in a glass and enjoy.(Unsplash)


Honey glazed carrots (6 servings):

Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Take 6 whole carrots, coat them in butter, honey, salt and pepper and bake for 25-30 minutes.(Unsplash)


Peanut butter cookie:

For this, you will need 1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg. Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Mix all the ingredients, make them into balls and place them flat onto a nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Set aside for a while and it is ready.(Unsplash)


Mac n' cheese (6 servings):

In a large pot, cook 445g pasta in 5 cups milk for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, add 2 cups of cheddar cheese and stir until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.(Unsplash)


Butter parmesan corn (6 servings):

Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Take six corns, coat them with a layer of butter, roll it on parmesan cheese, place it in a baking tray, season with some salt and pepper and bake for 25 minutes.(Unsplash)


Pancake (4 servings):

Take 1 banana and mash it in a bowl. Then add 2 eggs and a tablespoon of cinnamon powder and mix well. Add a spoonful of the batter to a nonstick pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Top it with honey or maple syrup.(Unsplash)


Chocolate hazelnut mug cake (2 servings):

Take 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread, 2 large eggs in a bowl and mix well. Add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour and stir again. Evenly distribute into two mugs. Microwave it for 2 minutes, take it out and let it cool before taking a bite.(Unsplash)
